Next Halloween in 2011 Diane wants to let the parents know that they are very welcome to let their children walk freely through the decorations in her yard. ![]() Their actions really hurt Diane and she let the mothers know it when they stopped back for the boys. They even tore some of the decorations down with their obnoxious activity. These boys showed no respect for the decorations or Diane. Diane was very disappointed with some mothers in a red van who drove up and let four good-sized boys get off and then drive away. Nearly all of the parents and little ones were very respectful of the decorations and the treats that Diane and her son Justin provided. Some of her visitors were from Florida, Minneapolis, and Lake Okoboji, Iowa area and many locals. She had lots of people stopping by with their little ones. I had a telephone call from Diane Hinz this past week appreciating that I had mentioned her Halloween decorations in a recent news column. Hopefully Darlene will soon be able to return to her home here in Holland. Other visitors were Earl and Mary Price from Bellevue, Neb., and Jennifer Clarin and family of Marshall. Marge and Dean are giving her mom some tender loving care until she feels much better. There we visited with Darlene Thomssen at the home of Marge and Dean Becker. 1, Gladys Taubert asked me if I would like to ride along with her to Marshall.
